Field Hockey Canada is seeking volunteer national coaches for the 2026 Masters Outdoor World Cup, taking place in Europe during the summer of 2026.

- Rotterdam, The Netherlands
? July 22 – August 1, 2026 (O35/O40 Men & Women, O45/O50 Men & Women)
- Brasschaat, Belgium
? August 6 – 16, 2026 (Women’s O55–O70, Men’s O55/O60)
- Breda, The Netherlands
? August 6 – 16, 2026 (Men’s O65–O80)
Canada aspires to send Men’s and Women’s Masters teams in the 35+ to 65+ age categories. Coaches will be responsible for team selection, training, and preparation leading up to the tournaments.
What’s Covered:
✔️ National & international travel costs
✔️ Accommodation during the tournament
✔️ Per diem (capped)
✔️ Honorarium for practices & events
Responsibilities:
- Oversee progressive training programs (skills, fitness, tactics)
- Lead athlete selection camps and training camps
- Attend national tournaments & preparation events
- Complete post-tournament reports and development recommendations

Key Selection Camp Dates:
- Men: Oct 11–13, 2025 (Thanksgiving) & Apr 3–6, 2026 (Easter)
- Women: Oct 11–13, 2025 (Vancouver/Duncan) & Feb 14–16, 2026 (Family Day, Vancouver)
Additional training events may include the Pat Hall Masters Tournament (Vancouver Island) and the Vancouver International Tournament (VIT) in May 2026.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NCCP Competition Development (or working towards)
- NCCP Making Ethical Decisions & Making Headway (concussion)
- Canadian Safe Sport certification
- Strong leadership & experience with older athletes
- Knowledge of Long-Term Athlete Development
